Josephine is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with licenses in Virginia and North Carolina. She has over 20 years + of experience in the field of Mental Health, She has worked with several clients in different programs and offices including ICU, Community Outreach, Inpatient Behavioral Psychiatric Unit, Detox Centers, Outpatient Psychiatric Offices, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. Her passion lies in helping those faced with mental health challenges, and the result has been outstanding.

Career:

Her nursing career started as a community mental health nurse in Ghana where she worked for 6 years in a community outreach program for children. She moved to the United States to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Old Dominion University and earned her master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. She is currently in the process of obtaining her doctoral degree.

Experiences :

She has a wide range of knowledge in the health field with over 20 years of experience and she has worked in several departments including, ICU, community outreach, inpatient behavioral psychiatric unit, detox centers, outpatient psychiatric offices, and Veterans Affairs medical center in Hampton. Her training and experiences in diverse cultural backgrounds have given her the ability to understand and provide patient-centered care no matter their cultural background.

Clients who have dealt directly and indirectly with Josephine have only wonderful things to say about her professionalism.
